Support for Vagianos, Ordway

As printed in the Town Journal
TO THE EDITOR:
With all the media attention being given, most of us are beginning to think about the 2016 presidential election even though it's still over a year away, but I'd like to make the case for an election that's happening here in New Jersey that's at least as important to us and our families.
On Nov. 3, 2015, New Jersey voters will elect all 80 members of the New Jersey Assembly, the lower house of the state legislature. Those 80 officials make laws that affect all of us, from the taxes we pay to the quality of our transportation system and what our state colleges spend on New Jersey students.
This is an election I will not miss and my choice of candidates are two newcomers who have taken the time and effort to canvass all the towns in the 40th district of which we are a part.
Christine Ordway and Paul Vagianos are first time candidates and they are very impressive. They are both professionals, Christine a CPA and Paul an attorney and small business owner, and they are disturbed by what they see happening in New Jersey and want to do something about it. They are open to new ideas and I believe they are showing a genuine interest in hearing what voters have to say.
I urge everyone in the 40th district to learn about Christine Ordway, Paul Vagianos and their plan, and most important, to elect them to the Assembly on Nov. 3.
